How To Fill Out The VIRTUAL OPEN HOUSE EVENT Form!

Happy Tuesday everyone! As we gear up for our first every Virtual Open House event (launching THIS SATURDAY at 1 PM), there have been a few questions about the Google Form. We wanted to take a moment to walk you through filling out the form. After you're done, make sure to submit your property before noon on Thursday! https://forms.gle/eiD7DnQM61rayzVd9

Name and Phone Number

These two are pretty self explanatory. What's your name, what's your phone number? So far, so good! 😊

Region

A drop down menu for you to choose your region. This will determine which episode your listing goes into.

Property Address

Type in...your...property address. 😉

DIRECT Link to Listing

Here, we need a link to view your listing online. Your easiest option is Century21.com. If you notice, we specifically request you not use an MLS link, but a public link from a real estate listing website.

Video File

This seems to be the tricky party. Because our ultimate goal is to edit ALL of these listings into larger episodes, we need the actual video file for your video. Not a YouTube link, not a Dropbox link, the ACTUAL file. This is normally an MP4 or MOV file, and is actually what you upload to YouTube in the first place! These files are inherently large, so there's a good chance, depending on your internet strength, that it takes awhile to upload. But the files are necessary in order to edit them together.

If you had a video shot by a professional, you can request the video file from them. They'll normally share it through something like Dropbox or Google Drive. If you have a Dropbox link, you can download your video from Dropbox! We have a tutorial video below. If you only have a YouTube link, there is a resource where you can try to download the video from YouTube, however it does not work 100% of the time. Additionally, only use this resource to download your own videos. It is illegal to download other videos without permission.
