And now, let's dive in: Instagram (and Facebook) Stories! One of the newer features released from Instagram, Stories are a great way to get daily exposure with your sphere.

Stories are little snippets of what you're up to that stay in your "Stories" for 24 hours - then they're gone! A lot of people get caught up on the "disappearing" part of it, as if that makes it pointless. Quite the opposite - over 500 million accounts use Instagram Stories every. Single. Day. Snapchat Stories, which arguably "started" this trend, only has roughly 190 million daily users! Anecdotally, I posted stories to my account last night around 10 PM. As of writing this email, I have already had over 123 friends see it #Humblebrag. And people have mostly been sleeping since then!

123 people of my sphere in barely 12 hours. Stories are a great way to show off new listings, share market or new updates, and most importantly, have some fun.

To post to Stories on YOUR Instagram account, check out the tips below. And yes, Facebook has their own Stories feature as well!

  1. Open your Instagram App and locate the "Your Story" section, in the upper left corner. Hold this down.

  2. Click on the first option, Add to Your Story

  3. Create your story! You can take photos OR videos. You can add text, GIFs, filters, and SO MUCH MORE. Have fun! When you're all set, click "Send To" in the lower right corner.

  4. Share to your stories! This should be the first option on the screen. A couple sections down, it should allow you to share to Your Facebook Story, if you've connected your Facebook and Instagram accounts.
